Catch Reports

In March and April we've had some great fish out including 2 over 50

and a few 40's, 30's and 20's everyone has left happy wishing to return asap. Feed has been a mixture of maize, pellet and boilies fed in the regular places and successful pop ups and wafters have been pineapple, spicy red fish, manila and coconut either on their own or as a snowman set up.

Dave done us a favour repairing our roof in exchange for a couple of days fishing, in all he managed 3 mirrors between 27 and just over 36lb. he fed pellet and maize with wafters on the rigs, a squid boilie topped off with a bit of red spicy fish boilie. january 24

Alan, Lisa and Ashley arrived by chance for a few days with us and were rewarded with fish of 50lb12oz and 34lb5oz this despite minus 5 conditions and a dusting of snow. They have already decided to return later in the year !

Weather was not good sunday, monday, tuesday and then it improved for the rest of the week. A pineapple pop up nailed the first and white almond mini boilies caught the others.

Luke's first of the week.

Our first full season kicked off with Luke landing a PB 42lb common just a couple hours after arriving. The weather is a bit up and down so it's tough going for him.

Marcus and Gavin

These two had a very tough week, it was cold and wet day after day but i admired them as they were never down hearted and sticking it out in the bivvies despite there being a nice warm gite 20 metres away ! Marcus nailed this 44 pounder at least on the second night.

I think they drowned their sorrows every night when I done the recycling ! We have been so lucky with our visitors since taking over all have had a good fun time.

Barry’s first fish of the week a 39lb common only been set up a couple of hours and his lovely old dad had a cracking perch float fishing which is what he loves doing.

Barry and Ron

Barry and Ron only got 3 complete days in but both got in on the action. The best fish were a 39lb common and a 30lb mirror for Barry, and Ron was happy with a few smaller fish and he still holds the record for the biggest carp caught float fishing!! Caught 4 years ago a 20lb fish they are returning next year for a complete week.
